The “Bijou” is an instant favorite for fellow Gin lovers. The color elements of Diamond, Emerald & Ruby make this cocktail a true classic that lives up to its name. Created by “the father of professional bartending” Harry Johnson. We hope you enjoy!

INGREDIENTS:

  • Diamond – Gin: 1 1/2 Oz. (London Dry / New Age American Style)
  • Emerald – Green Chartreuse: 1/2 Oz. (French Herbal Liqueur)
  • Ruby – Sweet Vermouth: 3/4 Oz. (Fortified Wine)
  • Bitters: 2 Dashes (Orange)

INSTRUCTIONS:

Pour into Mixing Glass:

  • 1 1/2 Oz. of Gin
  • 1/2 Oz. of Green Chartreuse
  • 3/4 Oz. of Sweet Vermouth
  • 2 Dashes of Bitters

Add Ice into the Mixing glass

Stir:

40-45 Seconds – Dense Commercial Ice

20-25 Seconds – Standard Fridge Ice

Attach Strainer & Pour into Chilled Glassware

You now have “The Bijou’ Cocktail
